Before Camp, Amelia attended her friend Alice’s 6th birthday party.

I think this picture sums up their friendship quite nicely!  Alice is always on the go, and Amelia can never keep up with her.  Usually we’re glad of that, and I think that will only continue as they get older!

We bought a papasan chair!  I don’t know where we’re going to put it yet, but it was a good sale and we really wanted one!  We had one someone gave us when we were first married that was bigger than this, but it got broken.  If I’d known how inexpensive they are, I would have replaced it much sooner.  They have a double, love seat-sized one we have our eye on…but again, where to put it??  Hmm…

We also replaced our dishwasher…I wish I’d taken a before picture so that you could appreciate the after!

And first grade has begun!  We are homeschooling again this year.  This weekend we’re  headed to Watkins Glen…should be some beautiful pictures next time you stop by steinbox!
