Ben took Amelia on a Go-Kart to celebrate the end of the school year.
Amelia loves to pick things in our yard…
I saw inside-out french braids on someone and had forgotten about them, so now we have another option each morning. Can you tell I only have the one child and have plenty of time to do her hair?
Each year our chapel has a picnic at a local park with three of our sister chapels. Ben captured some good moments here! This is Amelia attempting to run backwards in one of the children’s games:
I call this one “Dwayne Dougal yells at children.”
Amelia was paired with her cousin Daniel for a three-legged race. On the left you can see Ben’s brother Jeremy helping his daughter Anna and a friend.

and down they go! Amelia is that flash of hot pink on the ground in front of Jeremy’s foot, and you can tell Anna and friend are about to join them!

Our pair did really well once they got into rhythm.
My good friend Breeze was in town for a visit! Her three children are on the right, plus Amelia’s friend Faith was with us for the day–she’s in the middle next to Amelia.

Amelia and Faith look more and more alike every time you post pictures of them!!!
Just learned today of Amelia’s ER visit. Is it too painful for sleeping? Wow! We
never know what’s going to happen from 1 minute to the next. Grandpa was
hand mowing on Friday and twisted his ankle but it never swelled up or bruised
for almost 24 hours. Then it was a beauty. He had to sleep with his foot on a
pillow, so he can empathize with Amelia. Love to you all and Happy Father’s
